High Noon Review

The seltzer to end all seltzers is how I read the marketing done by barstool sports and Dave Portnoy. These seltzers are absolutely the best seltzers around because everyone else was going for malt based while High Noon went vodka, something everyone has followed up now. The taste of High noons is above many of their competitors but for some flavors I would be unable to have more than two. Clean, crisp, full seltzers that are as close as any beverage can be to replicating the experience of a drink at a bar. The pricing is quite high but as I am lazy, they are a nice fill in that I grab every so often. I reviewed every flavor as you can read below:

Cranberry- Sweet, slight cranberry flavor with a nice aftertaste but, does taste overall a little artificial. Would prefer a vodka cranberry if I were at a bar. Will be nice to sip on a dock next summer. -7.4/10

Pear- Strong pear taste with no bad aftertaste, with a soft, subtle, and yet strong flavor. Really enjoyable, could see sipping it in almost any situation. -8.1/10

Cherry- Taste like a capri sun in a good way, seriously one of the better tasting seltzers. Even with low sugar it is sweet which seems to be a theme with high noons. Good mouth feel and flavor. 8.3/10

Grapefruit- high hopes for this one so it’s a bigger let down when having it and it does not live up to what was built in my head. Not sure what I was expecting, but a little bit of a fake flavor and bad mouth feel give me no reason to pick one up again. -5.9/10

Lemon- There is more sugar than usual, giving this a real fruit flavor crossed with the candy lemon drops. Great flavor with a good mouth feel during drinking, after a few seconds the mouth feel drops for a quick bit and then your mouth feels good. Flavor alone this is one of the best high noon offers but with the mouth feel after I gotta dock it a few points. Don’t do a whole four pack at a time but instead mix it in with others and this will be one of your favorites.-6.4/10

Lime- Lime gets shit on from a lot of people but I quite enjoy it overall as a seltzer flavor. It’s light, yet full flavored with a great mouth feel at the end. On a summer day I would be reaching for this flavor. 7.8/10

Peach- Was one of the best first sips I’ve had from this seltzer company. Unfortunately it went downhill after that, the peach taste is not what I was wanting after many sips and a mouthfeel that could be improved. Even with 2.4G of sugar I still feel a headache coming on as I type this. -5.8/10

Kiwi- Unbelievable for me that this is so high on my list now, it’s a caprisun flavor without the little bit of strawberry taste. Seriously refreshing with great taste and an impeccable mouth feel. This one should be able to be bought alone. -9.1/10

Passion fruit- Light, Refreshing, and flavorful make this an absolute joy to drink. Taste is very close to what I remember the fruit tasting like, though it’s been a while. Mouth feel and after taste are both good for this seltzer.- 8.9/10

Watermelon- Kind of a fake watermelon taste but not in a bad way. I think it’s closer to the fruit than most fake tasting items. Aftertaste is not bad at all and mouth feel is wonderful, but after a while it has a sugary mouth feel. -8.5/10

Pineapple- Kind of has the sour effect or stinging mouth that i encounter with Pineapple. It’s not bad and I feel it is one of the most true tasting pineapple seltzers. Would recommend if you like pineapple. -8.1/10

Guava- Taste like real guava, like frighting how close it is. If you like guava you will like this but I know people that don’t like this. It’s light refreshing and is a great mouth feel. Could sip these all day. It is my favorite flavor of High Noon and my favorite seltzer overall. -9.2/10

Mango- A slightly sweet mango flavor that isn’t too artificial. Taste like a mango dessert in a good way, with a nice finish and mouth feel. Would grab this one any day. -8.1/10

Tangerine- Crisp and flavorful taste to this seltzer. Taste just like the small orange fruit that you love. The after taste isn't perfect but overall this seltzer is better than 90% of whats on the market. 7.8/10

Plum- Tart flavor to begin with, there is not too much flavor overall that isn't in a bad way because you taste what flavor there is a lot. Definitely taste the soda/club water, not the best but no where near the worst. 6.7/10

Raspberry- Not sure if I have ever had raspberry juice, but this is what I imagine it would taste like. Its sweet and tart but not overly on either, just a nice blend. 8.2/10

High Noon Tequila Seltzer review:

Lime- Lime forward for sure with a healthy tequila flavor. A cross between tequila soda and margarita that to me leans more towards a margarita. Very clean and crisp with the taste disappearing after just a few seconds. Great mouth feel and if tequila is your go to then these may become a must for your fridge. 8.3/10

Grapefruit- Thought it would taste like a Paloma but it’s closer to a tequila soda with a splash of grapefruit juice. Very balanced and easy to sip, taste virtually disappears after a few seconds with good mouth feel. The grapefruit is refreshing and leaves next to nothing to be desired. Very good seltzer that they will be able to sell in four packs. 8.5/10

Passion Fruit- Great bite on this seltzer, no normal seltzer flavor either. Not sure if I taste as much passion fruit as the vodka version though. Almost a little pepper flavor in it but in a great way. Love, I mean love this seltzer. 8.8/10

Strawberry- The little red treat that is brought forward by summer. High hopes going into this one and it didn’t disappoint. Not much tequila flavor at all as it is masked by the strawberry flavor. A slight strawberry flavor that actually gets stronger after you set the drink down. Good flavor overall but as it usually is with most strawberry flavored things I’m left wanting real strawberries. 8.2/10

The seltzer craze is here to stay and with that High Noon is leading the pack for what flavor should be in a Seltzer. There were some surprises for me like the grapefruit since I like grapefruit the fruit but not the seltzer (Vodka). Overall these are the best you can buy, just wont be buying them too often due to price.
