Chicken Nugget Review from Big Three

Ordering chicken from a burger chain? Once thought to be a taboo no go zone, is now exploding thanks to the chicken sandwich explosion. Today though we talk about nuggets and how the big three (Wendy's, McDonalds, and Burger King) serve their customers. So I ordered a mix of nuggets from Wendy’s getting both the spicy and regular, burger king I got the nuggets and chicken fries, and McDonalds I got McNuggets. This taste test will only revolve around the nuggets and not the sauces, but that may come in just a short time.

Wendy’s

Regular Nuggets- Good breading and surprisingly good seasoning. Not much crunch but a solid nugget. 7.2/10

Spicy Nugget- Same texture as regular nuggets with added flavor. A nice hint of spice, definitely worth getting over the regular nuggets. 7.5/10

Burger King

Nuggets- Better breading than Wendy’s, very surprising, like very surprising for me. Not much flavor for spices with a slight sweet taste to the nugget. 7.3/10

Chicken Fry- No real crunch but has a good flavor profile from the spices. Texture is a little gooey on the inside which is unsettling but somehow doesn't lower it amongst the rest of chicken options. 7.9/10

McDonald’s

McNuggets- Slight crunch, very unique flavor and breading. Not much seasoning but a good memorable flavor that has one reminiscing back to friends birthday parties at the golden arches, with the jungle gyms. 7.8/10
