Fredi The PizzaMan Review

We ordered two pizzas, the first pizza was Margherita Style with pepperoni and then we ordered a pizza with more of a supreme feeling being topped with basil, sausage, peppers, and mushrooms.

The crust was amazing, flavor that stands on its own but doesn't dominate the whole pie. Crisp that has you doing a double take in awe of the mouthfeel, the crisp at Fredi’s is very rare within the pizza game. It makes eating the pizza a joy and not a job as some places pies are.

The sauce had a consistency with very few to no clumps of tomato yet the sauce contained the flavor one yearns for in a homemade sauce. I believe this sauce was made there, I could be wrong but it seemed freshly made and not from a can to me. Didn't seem like too many spices were added into the sauce but it gave a rich tomato flavor that was nice to taste and complemented the pie.

The two pizzas were different and yet showed the range this places has. A simple pie is elevated to new heights while a pie with more complexity is done just right. The Margherita with pepperoni was flavorful and blended in a way that didn't shock or confuse but encapsulated what a pizza is meant to be. The crust at the end of each slice was the last little treat, that in its own right may have been the best part of the pie.

The pizza resembling a supreme pizza was also good, the ingredients did weigh down the slices a little so the crispy bites didn't start until you were halfway through the slice. But those bites after the halfway point were some of the best bites of pizza Ive had, period. I thoroughly enjoyed the sausage and while it had some grease, it ended up complimenting the pizza.

Both Pizzas were very good and I can assure you there is no wrong item to order here. Fredi does it right, himself everyday, that type of commitment shows.
