Crumbl Cookies Review
Was told about this cookie chain a while back and never seemed to make the time to go into the store. Upon entering I was greeted by the scent of fresh baked cookies. The layout of the store was quite complex, I was very impressed with the operations. Everyone had a job and was very in tune with the other workers.
The cookies themselves were tasty, the chocolate chip cookie being my favorite. Each cookie had a different texture dependent on the type of cookie. The sugar cookie dough had less hold than the regular dough, yet was packed with flavor. Would recommend stopping in and trying these cookies, just recognize that they are sweet, like very sweet, my limit was two and that was enough for me at a time.
Quick thoughts on each cookie tasted:
Milk Chocolate Chip- The original cookie that us always on the menu and I can see why. My favorite flavor with rich chocolate and good form yet soft dough. Worth a drive to get, highly recommend.
Cornbread Honey Cake- Very sweet but the texture is light just like cornbread, would recommend trying.
Blue Monster featuring Chips Ahoy- Very good cookie that has a condensed chocolate chip cookie base with blue frosting and chips ahoy on top. Tasted like a chip ahoy cookie, I think I would rather have the regular chocolate chip cookie. Recommend getting it if they bring it back. Cookie was also refrigerated.
Almond Coconut Fudge- Really didn’t taste the almond or coconut, but the chocolate flavor in the cookie is the highlight. Rich and creamy don’t start to describe this cookie. Probably wouldn’t be go to but chocolate lovers need to put on their list.
Sugar cookie featuring Mother’s Eerie Critters cookies- Taste was good, an upscale version of the sugar cookies with the frosting found at grocery stores in the plastic trays, you know what I’m talking about. Wasn’t my favorite cookie but would encourage anyone to try it out.
Peanut Butter Nougat featuring Snickers- Really liked this cookie, the peanut butter cookie base could have been a standalone cookie. The flavor is sweet with a slight snickers flavor. Couldn’t recommend enough.
