Always Sunny in Philadelphia Season 16 Episode 1Review

The Gang Inflates- 7.4/10

A really good explanation from Frank about inflation starts us out, actually surprised at how accurate and simple they made it. Then we move on the couch scheme with Dennis and Mac which of course will go sideways. The joke with the nuts and Mac don’t land for most of the episode but they stuck with it and it did land once with me in the episode which had me chuckling. Frank finding out about the bathroom and second room in the apartment was pretty funny and of course he invested in Mac and Dennis to screw them over ultimately. It seems everything in this episode came down to Frank being a scumbag by screwing people over like Dee with her apartment. In the end though we Charlie gets Franks attention with teenage mutant ninja turtle bars that are a funny shade of green and set everything back to the way it was. The funniest part was that Charlie took the gangs savings and invested in these teenage mutant turtle pies, a play on the trading card frenzy that have been bought and sold in recent history.
