Always Sunny in Philadelphia Season 16 Episode 6 Review

Risk E. Rat’s Pizza and Amusement Center - 7.6/10

This episode sees the gang going back to an amusement center they went to as kids, but it isn’t as they remember. Dee and Frank do the treasure hunt which has been digitized and all the fun sucked out of it. They also realize the characters have changed for political correctness. Mac tries to use his tickets but all the deadly items are gone and then gets put in timeout after fighting with a kid, scaring the kid trying to pool their tickets together. In the timeout he comes to the realization that kids are soft nowadays and that’s cause they aren’t held accountable. Dennis and Charlie look for the boobs on the animatronics of the place but find them creepy and old. In the end the gang decides to show the kids a good time by putting on a show for them with the old stuff after locking their parents in a pretend bar that has been removed since they went there as kids. The animatronics cause a huge fire and everyone gets hurt cause of the gang and they walk away. Good episode with an interesting look at society and how it has ended up being softer with quite a few jokes throughout.
