Papa’s Italian Sausage Review

The memories I have of the old cart at my local farmers market always bring a smile to my face. Kind of crazy that I would eat a full Italian Sausage sandwich at seven in the morning, but those days calories weren’t counted. This time around I got the sausage sandwich which was a mild (could be hot) Italian sausage, grilled onions, and peppers on a roll (I took off the mustard and ketchup as I thought it would dull the taste of the sausage). Great herb and spice flavors in the sausage itself which was flavorful. The onions and peppers cut a little of the sausage taste, not that it is needed, but added sweetness. The bread was very large in comparison to the sausage and onions inside but the soft interior was amazing.
