McDonald's Chicken Big Mac Review
Imagine sitting in a board meeting and someone pipes up with the novel idea of taking your flagship burger and swapping out beef for chicken. Sounds like a good idea to boost sales for sure, but what about the execution needs to be considered? Should the chicken be the same patty as the chicken sandwich you have been shoving down everyone’s throats? Or should it be the old crown jewel chicken patty that many love from the McChicken? What ultimately was decided was taking the unique chicken nugget texture and forming a patty. But how does it taste?
Dry and not seasoned well. Thats the high level breakdown of this sandwich. The idea to add a large chicken nugget patty to the iconic big mac is something that I feel had been done before, but alas I am wrong, this is a first. The normal nuggets are not seasoned well and Im not sure if this was taken into account, but they flooded this sandwich with big mac sauce, like maybe a squirt less would have worked. With that being said it may have been the first time I actually tasted the sauce on this sandwich. It's a complete sauce that was created with some thought maybe 60 years ago or whenever it was made. The normal components work on this sandwich but the dry and unflavored chicken patty that seems like a large chicken nugget does not. I was not happy eating this and neither will you.
Make sure you have a drink nearby when taking on this sandwich, would be my only tip if you decide to take this sandwich on.
