McDonald’s VS Wendy’s VS Burger King

Comparing the big three burger joints

The order was simple, a basic cheeseburger, nothing too fancy or difficult to understand. McDonalds, Wendy’s, and Burger King were the competitors, the big three of the fast food burger world. Where do these chains stand when we let just the food do the talking? I cut the burgers in half and then had help with the process of giving them to me, since I was blindfolded. I wanted the test to have some form of legitimacy to it, so I felt the blindfold was necessary.

Let me first start off by saying this, if you cant tell the difference in these three burgers, even while blindfolded, you have raccoon taste. I’m sorry but someone has to say it to you, your palate is garbage, you are in fact an idiot. The difference in all three places was so clear I felt like it was a second grade test.

With that being said lets get into the taste test, all three places gave burgers wrapped in a paper wrapper. All three had cheese and burger patty, but that is kind of where the similarities end.

Mcdonalds: 6.1/10

You could actually taste every component in this burger, with the pickles having a pronounced flavor profile. The other condiments (onions, ketchup, and mustard) also could be tasted in every bite. All together it was a solid cheeseburger, I wouldn't say good, but solid.

Burger King: 2.4/10

The pickle had a good crisp on this burger and the cheese was working hard to mask the flavor of the patty, but fails. This is where the niceties end for this burger. The burger patty is bad, like really bad, this burger overall stinks, plain and simple. You could tell this burger from the rest so easily it was disgusting. The Burger King Burger could be described as gross, vile, disgusting, in not so many words a horrible commingling of flavors that should disgust even the faintest of palates. When I say it is like licking the grill directly, I'm not embellishing, I wish I was but it truly was something no one should go seeking and defiantly not frequent. How do they stay in business? Is this front? I'm not going to speculate on the business affairs, no, merely I will say without one once of regretfulness in my body, this is a terrible burger that no human should ever seek out.

Wendy’s: 6.8/10

Wendy’s may have cheated a little on this taste test, while I ordered a cheeseburger, it seems they may have given me a Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger. Don't worry there will be a light notch against them for this error, since they cant listen to a simple order. I did my best to look over the lettuce, tomato, mayo, and bacon. What I can say is that taking all these things out, it was still the best burger out of the three. The meat was tender and the cheese complimented the patty, but didn't overpowered. This burger felt the closest to a restaurant style burger and was the best burger.

Wendys may have given me a burger with lettuce, tomato, and mayo by accident as I said give me a cheeseburger and them being who they are, have those standard on a burger. Because they are better, in every sense of the word and taste, they are better.

There you go, the final ranking of the basic burgers are Wendy’s, then McDonald’s, and in dead last Burger King. The person I had helping me had the exact same conclusion and ranking of the three burgers. In conclusion, don't go to burger king for a burger, just keep the hunger going or grab a protein bar at a gas station, it will taste better and make you feel better.
