Burger King Original Chicken Sandwich Review
The long chicken patty and bun had me intrigued from the start, for quite some time when I have gone to this place for you, the readers. I saw this item on the menu and wondered where they had locked up the madman that had created this Frankenstein esqe sandwich The patty itself had the same consistency as the chicken fries which is not great, a mangled mess of chicken with an artificial breading on the outside. No crisp, no spices, made this patty bland and shallow. This patty was also hallow as you could have put it on your fingers like a glove, there was so much space. It was an unpleasant feeling, one that gave off this giant company mass producing chickens in a facility, not caring what the final product came out looking like. I know this is true of all companies but they generally try to hide it, not here and not with this product. The mayo they throw on and sad lettuce are about the only things you get to taste with this sandwich. Way too much mayo for this sandwich which overloaded the flavor profile of it. I can’t in good faith recommend this sandwich. I’m sure when it came out it was a very good chicken sandwich as there were no options. But today we have many options that surpass this again and again, literally lapping it if this were a race. Go somewhere else to get your chicken craving and satisfy your hunger with something that won’t make you feel bad about putting it into your body.
