Burger King Swiss Cheese Melt Review
This company keeps coming up with commercials that stick in my head. First it was the whopper and then we were overloaded with the melt commercial. I had some loyal readers that reached out and asked me when I was going to review this. After my many reviews of the kings food and after the feeling of disgust comes over my body and mind I had to ask myself where I would draw the line on this establishment. Ultimately I decided I should not, could not, and would not review this product. At some point you have to say no. But one night my roommate was driving home and decided to swing by and pick up a melt, the Swiss cheese version, so there I was eating my words in the form of this patty melt that would most certainly make me feel awful.
The bun was toasted, the cheese melted, and the patty had the same disgusting charbroiled taste that many have come to love. The sauce was nowhere to be found on this melt, though it may have helped since this was the raw product in the flesh for me to sit and eat. Every bite was dry and it became harder to consume as it went on. My roommate wasn't going to finish his but as a blogger with integrity I couldn't sit there and not finish the burger. The commercial sells this as something delectable but as the case often goes those burgers on TV and in advertisements are made by artists that are hired to make a good looking burger. Overall this is very similar to any other burger king product, so if you like those then you will like this. I do not like burger king items and did not like this, the dry patties were masked only slightly by the cheese but the overall feeling of disgust was thrust upon me from the very first bite and did not leave until the next day.
I give this a 2.3 out of 10 cause a cheeseburger is a cheeseburger but why not go somewhere else if you have the chance.
The melt did have melted cheese, so I will give it that
