How do Coffee makers work?
Coffee makers work by heating water to a specific temperature and then using that hot water to brew coffee grounds. There are several types of coffee makers, but most operate using the following basic steps:
1 Water is poured into a reservoir in the coffee maker.
2 The water is then heated to a specific temperature, usually between 195 and 205 degrees Fahrenheit.
3 The hot water is then forced through a filter, which contains the coffee grounds.
4 The brewed coffee is then collected in a carafe or pot, ready to be served.
