How to cook pulled pork?
To cook pulled pork, you will need a cut of pork shoulder, a dry rub seasoning, a liquid for basting (such as apple juice or vinegar), and a low and slow cooking method, such as a slow cooker, oven, or smoker.
Season the pork shoulder with the dry rub, covering all sides evenly.
Place the pork in the cooking vessel, and add the basting liquid.
Cook for several hours, basting every hour or so, until the internal temperature reaches 205°F and the meat is tender enough to pull apart with a fork.
Remove from the heat and let it rest for 10-15 minutes.
Shred the meat using two forks, discarding any fat or gristle.
Serve with your preferred barbecue sauce, on buns, or in a sandwich.
